Original Who Wants to be a Millionaire is a British gameshow hosted by Chris Tarrant since 1998. In May 2018, ITV decided to bring back the gameshow for a 7-day period as 20th Anniversary, with Jeremy Clarkson as the host. The show will back on ITV in Jan 2019.
The idea of building this studio started since I have information of the new WWTBAM show from ITV as an 20th Anniversary. The studio is no other, it has a new look, new lightning, new host and especially the floor is a screen. A great help comes from Official WWTBAM for providing 360 degree tour of the set which you can watch here.
The floor screen is special as it does play a big role in the show, along with the lights. To recreate the floor screen, I decided to dig the floor area two blocks deep and using a chain of structure blocks to replicate the animation. Each animation takes about 10 blocks, while the longest, the money transaction one, takes about 30 blocks.
The changing light color also uses structure blocks.
People playing this map should take caution because the lights will produce a lot of lags. Also no sound is included.
The studio includes the backstage which have light controls and some exposed redstone circuits. The controls include seperate controls of the lights, preset light pattern and reset button only for the preset.
The backstage also include a room with stair that allow access to all redstone circuit and commandblocks. The structure block chain is not accessible, however.
Thanks for reading and enjoy the map!
