Hello all :) The Monterey Pine is a species of tree. Native to a very small strip of land in California. The native tree being rare, and the tree twisty and unusable for lumber, or any such wood production. While plantation grown trees grown for production are wildly different from the native tree. Know as Radiata pine, They are fast growing tree, often growing to full height in 40 years. It is pruned as it grows, to provide lumber free of knots
