What is Moria?

Khazad-dum was once the greatest dwarven realm and city of Middle-earth. According to Gimli the Dwarf it was 'full of light and splendor'. They had friendship with the Elves of Eregion who lived close to the western gate and benefit much from that friendship. Also they found iron, gold and jewels in their mines and the most valuable Moria-silver, which was found nowhere else in all of Middle-earth.
But they delved too greedily and too deep and they disturbed Durin's Bane, a Balrog who hid there after the Fall of Morgoth at the end of the First Age of Middle-earth. The dwarfs fled and Khazad-dum became Moria, the black pit. Orcs occupied and plundered it for a thousand years and most of it's former beauty is ruined.

Who is building Moria?
Moria project is going on at the Minecraft MIddle-earth server for more than a year now and it will continue for a long time as it is just huge. All help is very welcome, just join the server (there will be a short quiz about the rules) and ask a Designer or Forman if they have a job for you. Your first jobs will be quite easy stuff like ruining a part of some hall. With good building skills you can apply for Artist rank to get more challenging tasks.
How can I join tours?
First, type /tour in chat to know if there’s a tour going on. If there isn’t, you can ask one of the online Guides for a tour, but if they’re busy or tired, leave them be. If there’s a tour happening, type /tour join [name of the Guide running the tour] to join, and connect to TeamSpeak.

You need to pass the quiz before you can join a tour.
If you still need help with the quiz make an account at our forum: https://www.mcmiddleearth.com/
Then ask (in english) for help here: https://www.mcmiddleearth.com/forums/get-help.25/
Or start a conversation (in german) with Eriol_Eandur.

Sorry for inconvenience. The quiz is meant to be easy, but language can be a problem of course. The quiz is about these rules: https://www.mcmiddleearth.com/help/terms
At that forum you can also ask for help, you may find someone from your country. Also when you join Minecraft Middle Earth server you'll get an invitation link to our Discord server. There you will get help to pass the quiz too.
