Operation Blockbuster

February 8 - March 11, 1945 saw the British and Canadian invasion of the Rhineland, codenamed Operation Veritable. Operation Blockbuster was the follow up to that.

Operation Blockbuster was focused on the inner part of the Rhineland and included the taking of the towns of Veen and Xanten. I built this map focused more or less on these two events.

Now, this map is not actually a recreation of Operation Blockbuster. Rather, it is a representation. What I mean by that is I took elements of different parts of the operation and combined them into one map. Specifically, I took the trenches in front of Veen. The town that I built is based off of Xanten.

Map requires CTB2 mod on version 1.7.10. Otherwise, half off the map will either be missing or purpur blocks.

You may use the map as you wish but if you do use it for something, please credit me. I likely won't know that you're using it but hey, it's a nice thing to do, okay?
