My first SMP project. This outpost is reachable via teleport and will provide a safe point when SMP mobs are finally implemented. As the server population keeps expanding, additional outposts will be built near the outer borders for new players.

Most of the structure is wooden, with a stone/gravel layer providing some minor fire protection to the wall. The portcullis was installed by the server admin, and actually lowers and raises. The main building is a multi-story structure that will be available for player use and the outbuilding contains chests of dirt and cobblestone.

Additional Notes
The outpost was originally had a small group of trees nearby, but I've wound up planting an entire forest to support the wood I needed.1 Update Logs

The now-infamous 'Greifmas Holiday' over Christmas has finally tested the anti-griefer defenses. They are wholly inadequate as the flaming wood lit the stone on fire, a feat I didn;t realize was possible. Outpost Charlie will be a second attempt to build a griefer-resistant wood fort.
