he dread shore is a giant ruin of a city that used to be called Azmarin. It was a relatively peaceful city that was ruled by house Jonheim. This city had a pretty massive arena that was used very often. The city became a popular spot for travelers and wealthy lords and knights. Everyone wanted to see the spectacles that took place in the arena. There was very little conflict in the city because it was the only real city in the Lower Midlands. Until the vikings from Essax came together under the leadership of Ragnar Konquerorrinn (translated to ragnar the conqueror). Ragnar was an ambitious man who wanted to conquer new lands. At first the vikings were fighting among themselves until Ragnar became king. They arrived at the harbor of Azmarin with, according to myth, a hundred ships. In truth it was probably between 50 and 80 ships. The vikings absolutely destroyed the city and ravaged the entire midlands until they eventually arrived at Vlasith. There Ragnar became ill and they had to return to their homeland. A couple of vikings stayed in Vlasith. The city never recovered and is now a giant ruin.
