this is/was my 1.8 vanilla survival singleplayer world, with optifine, it actually had been doing weird things before corrupting, namely the sounds would sometimes stop for a couple minutes, and after a while, that stopped happening, but instead, I was getting staticy sounds, (this was only in Minecraft, I know it's got nothing to do with my pc, and I tried adjusting the volume options, nothing worked. I'm not sure if this happened in other worlds, since eventually, I turned off the sounds altogether) I was too dumb to make a backup, and then, when I was playing, I had to stop, so I pressed escape to go in the game menu, and shut my laptop lid. When I opened it again, my computer had shut down. I turned it back on, and logged back into Minecraft, and the world had dissappeared. My first instinct was to check the appdata folder, and the world file was there, and the insides looked just like my other worlds. I screwed around with the code, but I couldn't make it appear in my game menu. This is why I uploaded it here, so that if any of you are good with this type of thing/ this has happened to you, you could fix the code. Thanks!
