Air Defense Bunker is the first level in Quake 4 military science fiction first-person shooter video game, developed by Raven Software, ID Software and published by Activision in 2005. Game takes place on fictional planet "Stroggos", homeworld of cyborg race called "Stroggs".
Air Defense Bunker complex consists of various dark hallways with pipes, machinery, flashing lights, and enemies, but also some outdoor areas located deep among the rock masses. For comparison with my MC build, I recommend you to watch walktrough video of this level.
This whole complex was build by hand in survival. When I decided to upload it on PMC, I used World Edit to cut the region out, paste it into the new flat world, and then began to edit landscape and do minor changes. I've been occasionally working on this project since 2021 on our survival server. I've also built part of "Air Defense Trenches" level, so It may be added in the future.
After the second outdoor area, there is an hallway with an elevator leading to an another part of the bunker. As Minecraft does not have elevators (sadly), I had to use stairs, elevate the whole outdoor area, and then smoothly connect it into the following hallway. This is the only design change compared to the original game.
