This monastery was built for the r/Minecraft 125th building competition.
Historically, it was founded in the late Roman Empire around Northern Italy, of which the church mostly remains. Most of the monastery was built during the High Middle Ages, like the cloister, chapter hall and scriptorium. During the Renaissance and Baroque eras, the complex got a new look by adding a fancy gate and a new façade for the then thousand year old church.
