The entire goal of Rust is to survive. Live in the wasteland and scavenge for anything that will improve your chances of survival.

In this minecraft version of Rust, it is possible to play 100% solo. There are no bandits to kill you when you spawn and the map is to scale with the real Rust in-game world.

You start with...
  • stone pickaxe
  • 5 steak
  • 10 torches
Craft and build your base without the worries of other players murdering you. Yet, the experience is dangerous with incredibly strong mobs that spawn all throughout the map.

Most mobs require 5-10+ hits with a normal diamond sword. Each mob drops unique and rare loot that cannot be normally found on the map. Do not expect to be able to kill the mobs that drop top tier loot on the first night. You will have to scavenge the abandoned structures for gear that will prepare you for the challenges in the future.

This map can be played with as many people as you want but it is best used with no more than 4-5 players.

Challenges!
  • Travel to the nether (10pts)
  • Defeat the wither (20 pts)
  • Craft the beacon (5 pts)
  • Gather a full diamond (kevlar) set of armor (10pts)
  • Create a 3 story house, at least 5x5 wide (15 pts)
  • Do a full circle around the map starting at night and complete one lap before morning (15pts)
  • Have fun! (0.00000001 pts)
You can find log piles and random ore rocks!

So far I have not seen a rust survival map and I thought it would be interesting to make one. It has taken me four hours to create the following.

the entire map is nearly done!
  • all structures are now complete and filled with bits of gear and resources, big radtown done
  • diamond rocks are less frequent 
  • overpowered early game weapons removed
  • added challenges

  • friendly "players" on map, ex: villager trades
  • added even more spawners
  • added in other player's bases, play to find out what that means ;)
