What is it ? :This redstone system is my first sand/gravel elevator working in 1.6.

How it works ? : It's quite easy, the system works with a button, a rising-edge detector and few pistons. The sand falls from one side of the device, a piston pushes each block horizontally, then two other pistons are used to rise the blocks up.

Qu'est-ce que c'est ? : Ce système redstone est mon premier élévateur de sable/gravier fonctionnant en version 1.6.

Comment ça marche ? : C'est facile, le système fonctionne avec un bouton, un détecteur de front-montants et quelques pistons. Le sable tombe d'un côté du système, un piston pousse ensuite chaque bloc horizontalement, puis 2 autres pistons élèvent le sable de l'autre côté du mécanisme.

nice, I remember in my search of elevators that I made one working up & down, bit of shame that this one can't do that. I know it is than a lot harder but more useful I think.

My system is not intended to raise your player up. It's only a small elevator for sand blocks (really useful in some mechanisms).

What kind of mechanisms are they useful for?
