Hey everyone - here's the eighth update for SeattleMC - v.0.8, and there's a lot new.

WHAT'S NEW




To start, SeattleMC finally has a trailer available - released somewhat earlier since progress on the project has exceeded my expectations for the main release - a map download will still be available when the Downtown district is done, but for now, here's the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ_zPQh56Yw

Work has begun on creating the Pike Market District, with the Market Center being the first main line of focus. The surrounding residential apartments and small shops have been created, with additional work being done with homes near the west side of the market.







Pier 59, more widely known as the Seattle Aquarium, has also been made - and the interior is still very much under construction - however the main structure is done.

I always admire when someone creates something that looks really good in the default texture pack. Always a sign of skill.

Eventually, yes. Currently I'm focusing expanding what's been built already, although plans to add Mercer/Bainbridge Islands are under consideration. The remaining districts will be made as they're reached in-game. This will be challenging, as many of the districts contain diagonal streets, so some scale may be lost there. The 5 freeway also runs at an angle, so it'll take a lot of trial and error...
