Serenity

Peace, silence. A breeze drifts across the islands, cherry blossoms rustling, their sweet scent wafting across the horizon. Four teams, red, blue, green, yellow. A fight to protect a bed. Combat, defeat, victory. In the end their is always silence. Always Serenity.

Venture onto Serenity a project built on Builder's Refuge. For the simplest of games, the newest of games, the biggest of games. Terrain, landscaping, structure, and atmosphere skillfully crafted to fit perfectly together in one map. A map that beats all other Bed Wars maps.

The Work

EMDreamWalker and myself, Rebelite, began this project for fun, soon becoming a small project to tune our skills. Built over the course of three days, working all day. Beginning with the basic island shapes. Moving to terrain painting small terrain details. Then the elegant cherry trees and Shinto in the center. We moved to the diamond generators with a rugged but elegant staircase ascending to an open face pagoda style covering. Finishing with the spawn islands, building full pagoda style houses and shops. Fitting to the Hypixel Network's Bed Wars standards and easily adjusted for any other server. Overall, the project took around 30 hours of work and two people. A work of art, a place for combat and games.


Inspiration

Serenity was based off of Japanese architecture and colors. Cherry trees and pagodas. Complimented by rich wood tones and incredible detailing. Based off of images and historical references for accuracy, Serenity was a dream, is a map, and is a beautiful example that combat can still be elegant.

Serenity is available for download as a schematic and/or world file for use on any server. If you would like to purchase Serenity contact Rebelite through Planet Minecraft. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. The placement and balance of all the islands was greatly thought out and planned for use in combat and gaming; therefore usable. If you don't want to download, but want to see it in person it is on the creative server Builder's Refuge. Also now available to see on Cubed Creative with /warp serenity
