Stadttheater, (City Theatre) was the main Theatre building of Hanau, Germany.
It was build in the 1760s by Wilhelm I. (Hessen-Kassel) along with many other buildings for the city. It was located on the Parade Square, Right next to the Armory.
from 1768-1945 Various theatre plays were held here.
Although it did somewhat survive the British Terror Air raids on the 19th march 1945, it was later Blown up, along with the Residence which had the same fate.
