In 2001 Steamrail Victoria ran a Quad header using their R and K, 707 operations R and west coast railways R. the initial locomotives of choice for the trip were R707(707 ops), R711(WCR), R761(SRV) and R766(WCR) but R766 failed on the morning and was substituted with K183. the tour conatained a number of carriages owned by Steamrail and West Coast railways and showed off the power of these mighty locos.
