Kickin off 2016, here is my first organic of the year. This is a recreation of this picture, but I ended up adding a saber to it. Recently watched the new Star Wars movie and enjoyed it so I'm calling this like an advanced version of a storm trooper, like spec ops. They look badass and carry an imitation light saber to annihalate their enemies. But really...
This build is a practice for attention to body detail, muscle detail, etc. I learned how to make organic figures late 2015. I was making stuff, just to prove I could make stuff, to get something out there. Getting concepts to creations. Now I've learned some tricks and techniques to make basic stuff. To further the quality of my organic builds, I am now practicing the small details, like muscle detail, armor detail, etc. This build is just a simple standing pose, so it was easy to execute and focus on the details, however, I will definitly try to continue this for more complex poses as well. It's asyemtrical, just the head and parts of the torso are flipped. I took my time on this one, so I think it took like 4 or 5 hours to build, maybe 6; in one sitting.
Anyways, hope you like it and continue to watch me take this journey on learning organics. (-:
