Zonate Mk. II

After the Battle of Steel and Shot, in which the Dominion destroyed many of the Republic's Zonate class warships with their latest weapon: the Titan, the Republic ordered all of it's finest engineers to create a machine that could take on the airships and beat them in one on one combat. The team took over two years to finish their project, and on the 20th of November, 1942, the Zonate Mk. II trundled through the streets of old Paris, leaving a destruction in it's wake not seen since the destruction of Ireland. The Dominion were forced back into their factories in Asia, and Europe was taken by the Republic.

The Zonate II wields 9 Air-based Rail-Cannons, each capable of taking down another Zonate II in a single shot. Six of the deadly weapons are broadsided, two are welded to the front of the behemoth while the last is an amiable AA-Gun on top. The Machine requires immense amounts of fuel, and it's legs are strong enough to scale a cliff, although the cliff would collapse under the sheer weight.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted on PMC, mostly due to lack of inspiration. I came across this while going back over my other projects and thinking some of them could be a little better, and I had a go at upgrading the Zonate, noting that I did want to improve the legs. I'm not sure if I did that, but it's a start. Also, GLSL won't work for me lately, so the current Thumbnail was the best I could do. However, if someone could make a better pic for me, I will greatly appreciate it!
