Hello dear miners and crafters!

I decided to publish some of the custom trees that I created for my maps!
I will try to update this project regularly with new content.
Please let me know in the comments if there is anything wrong, or if you have any suggestions or requests!

Currently there are 106 custom trees in the download folder plus 40 variations of existing trees from this set.

Current content:

- 5 Jungle Trees
- 5 Better Jungle Trees
- 5 Dark Trees
- 5 Dead Trees
- 5 Better Dead Trees
- 5 Birch Trees
- 5 Palm Trees
- 5 Realistic Palm Trees
- 5 Exotic Trees
- 5 Oak Trees
- 15 Realistic Oak Trees (3 variations - 3*5)
- 5 Windswept Pine Trees
- 5 Straight Pine Trees
- 20 Realistic Pine Trees (4 variations - 4*5)
- 5 Willow Trees
- 5 Big Red Mushrooms
- 4 Giant Oak Trees
- 4 Giant Pine Trees
- 8 Realistic Giant Pine Trees (2 variations - 2*5)
- 4 Giant White Pine Trees
- 4 Giant Jungle Trees
- 12 Medium Rooted Pine Trees (2 variations - 2*5)
- A schematic for every tree
- A grid world containing all the custom trees and signs with their names
- Schematic Brush sets configuration file (World-edit add-on)
- Roads to easily navigate the tree grid
- Suggested biomes for each tree type
- Non-decaying leaves

Unreleased content:

- None! This project is currently up-to-date!

Planned content:

- 5 Apple Trees
- 5 Evil Trees
- 5 Swamp Trees
- 5 Acacia Trees
- 5 Eucalyptus Trees
- 5 New Dark Oak Trees

Schematic Brush explanation:

SchematicBrush is an add-on plug-in for World-Edit. You can download it here. Make sure you have World-Edit installed on your server when you use this plug-in. When you installed the plug-in, copy the config file that can be found in the download folder to the corresponding folder on your server's FTP. Also make sure to upload the right schematics to your server. When everything is set, equip a tool like you would when using regular World-edit Brushes and type the following command:

//schbr &<setname> -yoff:2 -place:BOTTOM

For the <setname> parameter, you can look at the tree grid to find the name. For the -yoff parameter, you can try other values for different planting heights. For example, the set for the regular oaks is just called 'Oak'. The set for the second set of oaks is called '2Oak'. The large oaks are called 'OakLarge'. If you look in the config, every set has a description. If a set has variations available, the materials of the stem and the main leaf type will be shown as '(Stem:leafs).'

My naming conventions may seem somewhat unusual. I created most of the parameters out of necessity, so please use the signs in the tree grid if this seems too confusing:

<V><Extra><Type><Size><Variation><N>

E.G: 2WhitePineLargeDark1

V: Type version - empty if first
Extra: Unique variation without parent set - empty if none
Type: Parent tree name
Size: Tree size - empty if small
Variation: Color variation of existing set - empty if parent
N: Number in set

What are you allowed to do with it?

- Use it for yourself.
- Use it for servers. You do not have to credit me, but doing leaving some would be greatly appreciated!
- Use it for commissioned work. Just make sure to let your customer know you did not make the trees.

What can you not do with it?

- Claim that you've made the trees yourself.
- Include schematics or 'raw' trees in any other compilation or grid.
- Redistribute or sell this pack, or any trees in the pack, unless they are included in a Minecraft world.

I am making a map for my survival server using WorldPainter, would you
mind if I use this object pack in it? I will give you proper credit and
link this page.

Actually it would be great if you could fix it so the whole pack is also in one schematic.
So, how are you supposed to fix the "You do not have permission" thingy?

I'm just messing around with it for fun and I need to world-edit and copy it but I'm not allowed?

Hey! To fix this, click open to LAN. Then in there, enable cheats.

I don't have the slightest clue. That must be something server-side, because this is a vanilla world.

You should spawn right with the trees. If you didn't, you have probably imported it incorrectly.
can this for singelplayer?

You can obviously load this in singleplayer, and if you have a mod that can handle schematics, you can also use the schematics. If not, you can try using structure blocks, but that's something you'll have to figure out yourself I'm afraid.

Hey there! Aspiring map creator here-- I was wondering if you might allow me to use your custom trees in my own map-making endeavors. Should you accept, I will of course provide credit within any and all uploaded maps.

By all means! You don't even have to credit me, although I highly appreciate any credit. You can even use it for commercial projects, as long as you do not redistribute or resell any of the schematics or the tree grid world files - or any other package that contains the trees in a non-derivative way.

This is great, only IMO some of the giant pine trees look kinda stubby, and on the smaller pines, the leaves which are below the main bulk look extremely out of place to me.

Thanks for the feedback! Is there a chance that you could give me the ID's of the trees you are talking about? I'll see if I can maybe improve them!

Alright, so the culprits are PineLarge2 and PineLarge4. One thing that would really improve PineLarge2 is making the 'tear shape' at its peak larger in proportion to the rest of it, like PineLarge3. PineLarge4 needs to have some of the random leaves at the bottom removed.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll take it in to account when I'll decide to revisit my old trees. Some trees are over a year old at this point, and I think I could improve many of them by a long shot, so I'll probably do that before I create any new trees!

The packs half decent, but what changed my life was the schematic brush config. I had no idea you could group them together like that! Totally not stealing it ;-)

I religiously collect any and all half-decent treepacks with schematics, as it means I have an enormous tree repository for Worldpainter. And everyone's style is different. I think I'm above 300 trees now (nearly half of those are from Lentebriesje, but still). I've recently started adding some myself, so I might publish a treepack as well, but mine will be larger.

I'll try to keep adding new trees to this pack as well.
And I may misunderstand this: But you are not going to publish a pack with trees other people made, right?

Lolno. I could, with everyone's permission, maybe release a total treepack for instant download, but I doubt I'd get that permission.
Besides, releasing one with all of your own trees gives more bragging rights.

Well, the file you downloaded contains two folders: World and Schematics. You'll have to put the "World" folder into your Minecraft saves.
