Tenjin, the patron Kami (deities) of learning & academics dwells high in the mountains of Japan. This temple is built as high as possible to bring humans closer to the Kami, Ten (天) meaning sky and Jin (神) meaning god or deity.

The original meaning of Tenjin, sky deity, is almost the same as that of Raijin (a god of thunder).

This was my first render. I hope you enjoy it, I had a lot of fun making this and learning how to use Blender 2.8 (thanks to MegRae). I made a video of it and I will have it attached.

P.s: I recommend right-clicking the video and putting it on loop, I couldn't get a GIF to work :P
