Time for another map! This map is “The Almost Possible Test” and it is based off of the impossible quiz. Don’t worry. It’s possible. Just not that easy though.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Play in minecraft 1.9.4. All the commands are in this version.

Estimated Duration of gameplay: If you are really good: 20-60 minutes
If you are average: 2 hours
If you cheat or play in casual mode: 30 minutes
If you are really bad: forever (probably won't happen)

Brief Description

This map is a challenge. It requires critical thinking, logistical skills, and thinking outside the box. You are required to give your best answer to multiple choice questions and to complete various challenges. You have an option to choose between 4 difficulties (normal, casual, hardcore, or checkpoint mode). There are more than 100 questions for you to answer. Remember that the questions all have feasible answers with explanations that make sense. I am giving you an answer sheet with explanations but please do not use it unless you are stuck on a question or are wondering about an explanation for an answer.

Long Description

This map is a game that is challenging. There are more than 100 questions and challenges that are all different from each other and require logistical skills, and critical thinking to solve. It is based off of the impossible quiz but includes less randomness and less timed questions. Every answer to a question has an explanation and logistical reasoning behind it. If you get stuck on a question, you can look on the answer sheet given but please do not use it to cheat. The answer sheet also includes explanations behind the questions. You have an option to play in 3 different gamemodes. Normal mode is for the player who wants to play the game normally. Starting off, this gamemode is recommended as casual mode may ruin the experience and hardcore mode can be too tough. In this gamemode you have 3 skips and 5 lives. Casual mode is for anyone who just wants to play in a low-stress environment or has given up and wants to see the whole map. In this mode, you get unlimited skips, lives, and can respawn if you die. Checkpoint mode is for quick players who want to play the map but don't want to go through the agony of restarting every death. Hardcore mode is for anyone who wants to prove themselves. You only have one life and no skips to complete the whole map in hardcore mode. So if you beat the map in hardcore mode, you will be someone I look up to. Just remember that the map isn’t as easy as just answering some questions. There will be some twists at the end so be prepared for the unexpected.

What types of questions will I see?

Questions that are meant to throw you off or questions that require logical reasoning are included heavily in the map. Here’s a sample question that’s not included in the map:

There are 10 potatoes. Mary takes 3. You take 5. Nick takes 1. How many potatoes do you have?

The answer: 5. It says that you take 5. The rest of the information is unnecessary and is meant to throw you off and make the question appear as a math story problem.

What kind of challenges will I face?

Good question. Challenges come in many different forms. Some are direct and tell you to do a difficult task. Some take time to understand before you can get the answer. The sample question in the tutorial asks you to craft a diamond axe, but the real challenges will be tougher than that. Some challenges take time for you to learn the question before you can answer. Most challenges will require you to have good knowledge of minecraft.

Skips and Lives

Depending on what gamemode you choose, you are given a certain number of skips and a certain number of lives. You can use skips to jump questions that you cannot figure out. For every wrong answer you click, you lose a life. When you have 0 lives left, you die and get reset to spawn. Please do not give yourself free skips and lives with commands. If you really want unlimited skips and lives, play in casual mode. Even though you have limited lives, there are still ways that you can automatically die regardless of how many lives you have. So beware of that.

Below is an answer key with explanations. Use at your own risk!

Answer Key (Spoiler)

Q#0: Click to start

Answer: Click sign that says “click to start”

Explanation: because it tells you to and that’s the only thing you can do really

Reason: to give time to start the map and load everything

Q#1: What is the 2nd letter in the alphabet?

Answer: C. B

Explanation: The 2nd letter in the alphabet is obviously “B”, which corresponds with answer option C

Reason: to test player’s ability to analyze reasons for unexpected answer choices

Q#2: What is the 2nd letter in “the alphabet”?

Answer: h

Explanation: “h” is the second letter in the phrase “the alphabet”

Reason: to test if people will notice and understand the quotes

Q#3: Which mob in minecraft is green and can explode?

Answer: Look behind you and select “creeper”

Explanation: Because creepers are green in the default texture and can explode.

Reason: to test if players will answer using the choices they see or try to seek the answer to a really obvious question

Q#4: 2+2*2=?

Answer: 6

Explanation: take 2*2 (4), then add it to 2, which comes out to be 6

Reason: tests if players go with initial instinct or stop and logically think.

Q#5: What is the answer to this.

Answer: What?

Explanation: “What is the answer to this” is a statement not a question, therefore “What” is the answer.

Reason: to test if players can pay attention to the “question”

Q#6: Pick one

Answer: top left Chance

Explanation: It says pick one and the top left is in the first spot

Reason: Just think about it. First ABCD, now 1234.

Q#7: Which of these would a ping-pong ball fit inside of?

Answer: an airplane

Explanation: because the other items are too small or not the correct shape to hold a ping-pong ball

Reason: to test if players can read the question correctly and take the obvious choice

Q#8: Don’t fall in the lava

Answer: use barriers to step on to avoid falling in

Explanation: use f3 and crouch to figure out where barriers are

Reason: to test how well players can use their minecraft tools and controls given

Q#9: Is this the Crusty Crab?

Answer: What’s a Crusty Crab?

Explanation: This is a reference to the popular show “Spongebob” where customers asked Patrick this question and he responded with “No, this is Patrick.” However, in the show, the restaurant is spelled “Krusty Krab” so therefore that option wouldn’t work.

Reason: mandela effect question.

Q#10: B is the only answer to this. Trust me.

Answer: Choose B. It will come up with “WRONG! -1 Life”. Choose it again and you will advance and receive your life back. (Note: In hardcore mode, “B” will advance right away without taking away your only life)

Explanation: B really is the only answer. But that doesn’t mean it’s always correct.

Reason: To mess with people’s trust issues

Q#11: Which one (potion) is different?

Answer: The sign in the upper right

Explanation: The potion next to that sign is slightly lighterr than the rest.

Reason: To test the player’s observation skills and eyesight.

Q#12: There are 24 total bricks on 3 planes. 5 fall off from each plane. How many are left?

Answer: 3

Explanation: Because there are 3 planes left. Planes were mentioned last and not bricks so the question asks how many planes were left.

Reason: to see if people can read the question closely

Q#13:

Answer: Go in the hole. There will be 4 chests. One chest has your answer and one chest has sand which you use to get out. There will be a numbers which reveal a code:1OPEN 2EACH 3CHEST 4AN 5EVEN 6NUMBER 7OF 8TIMES. So open each chest and even number of times from the original setting to open your way up.

Explanation: self-explanatory

Reason: Tests problem solving skills

Q#14: Which of these is not a position?

Answer: forth

Explanation: In order, it would go: first, second, third, FOURTH. Not forth.

Reason: Tests to see if player can analyze answers

Q#15: Which one has more value: a barrel full of nickels, or the same barrel exactly half-filled with dimes?

Answer: The dimes!

Explanation: A Dime is worth twice as much as a nickel. So if there were half as many dimes as nickels, they would be equal. But you can fit more than half the number of nickels in the full barrel of dimes in half of the same barrel. Therefore the extra dimes that you can fit would be extra value over the barrel of nickels.

Reason: Tests players logical reasoning skills

Q#16: Remember this code:KWBJCG. How’s the map going so far?

Answer: any answer is correct. It would also be wise to remember the code.

Explanation:The game doesn’t track how it is going since the answers are all opinion-based.

Reason: Creator just wanted a question with all answers correct. The code introduction worked with this idea.

Q#17: Before Jupiter was discovered, what was the largest planet in the solar system?

Answer: Choose the sign with Jupiter in it.

Explanation: Before Jupiter was discovered, it was still the largest planet in the solar system, people just hadn’t known about it yet.

Reason: To throw people off with the question and tests the player to see if they can catch that.

Q#18: What shapes are pizzas commonly cut into?

Answer: Sectors

Explanation: Triangles are uncommon to see and the other two options are not ways for a pizza to be cut.

Reason: Vocabulary and definitions are important.

Q#19: 9+10=?

Answer: 19 (Click the question number)

Explanation: Because 9+10 does in fact equal 19.

Reason: Simple addition is easy. This question tests the player’s awareness.

Q#20: How many questions are in this map?

Answer: 101

Explanation: It’s mentioned briefly in the tutorial

Reason: Gives players advantage if they actually tried the tutorial. It’s still fair game and anyone can do it.

Q#21: Which answer below is right?

Answer: The corners in this room

Explanation: Because the corners are 90 degrees, which makes them right.

Reason: Tests if the player can think of multiple definitions of a word

Q#22: Hurry! Pull the lever repeatedly as fast as you can

Answer: You must flick it up and down at least 18 times before the time ends. You get about 10 seconds to do so.

Explanation: No explanation needed

Reason: Just a fun challenge

Q#23: Be honest, did you complete that last question on your first try?

Answer: Depends on whether you completed the last question on your very first attempt in the map. It does not change when you reset but does change if you re-download. Skipping question 22 means that you did not complete it.

Explanation: just be honest

Reason: To see if people are prepared for the answer to stay the same throughout the whole map if they failed Q22 at any time.

Q#24: What is in this?

Answer: hi

Explanation: “hi” is in the word “this”. “This” is also not referring to any block

Reason: To mess with people. This is meant to be a weird quiz after all.

Q#25: You can figure out the answer. You got it. You can do it.

Answer: Look in your inventory. Place the sign on a quartz block and click it.

Explanation: When it says “you got it”, ‘it’ is referring to the answer which means that you have the answer. The other two statements are also true but technically unnecessary.

Reason: To exploit a connotation for the phrase “you got this”.

Q#26: 5156->?

Answer: 1

Explanation: All the signs on the right side show examples of other numbers and the code they represent. The code number is based off of the number of holes in every digit of the number. Therefore the number 5156 has 1 hole.

Reason: To make a question that seems complicated to answer but is actually so simple.

Q#27: Wait

Answer: Just wait. Don’t answer anything.

Explanation: Because it tells you to wait... so do it.

Reasons: Tests if people can follow directions and have patience.

Q#28: Which of these maps isn't made by the creator of this map?

Answer: Skeleton Journey

Explanation: If you check on PMC, you'll see every map on our profile except for Skeleton Journey. Skeleton Journey doesn't exist.

Reason: Tests players' resourcefulness.

Q#?: What question number is this?

Answer: 29

Explanation: Because you just played question 28, so 29 comes next.

Reason: Tests how well the player pays attention to the question numbers.

Q#30: Which object is the brightest?

Answer: Look straight up and right click the sun.

Explanation: Because the question asks which object is the brightest; it’s not limited to just the four below. Since the sun gives off the highest light level compared to the four shown, it is the brightest.

Reason: Tests the player’s awareness and how well they can determine the best answer.

Q#31: Light the lamp

Answer: This is a redstone question. Set the comparator on subtract mode. Set the left redstone torch off. Set the two levers next to the east wall to powered. Press the button when the sticky piston that constantly changes is extended.

Explanation: The comparator on subtract mode is the only way for the current to only reach just the first sticky piston. We only want the first piston to be extended because this stops the current from the stationary redstone torch at (-37,31). The second piston is not extended which blocks off the current from the right redstone torch. Since there is no current when you press the button, this activates the inverter which turns on the lamp.

Reason: Tests how well the player knows game mechanics.

Q#32: Which of these is correct?

Answer: ClashAssassin (Bottom Right sign)

Explanation: The creator’s MC username is “ClashAssassin” and the head of the skin is a black head with blue eyes. The bottom right corresponds to both of these.

Reason: tests to see if you were paying attention to the name and head of the creator.

Q#33: Which of the statements is false?

Answer: Both of the above statements are false

Explanation: Creepers can explode: true. Potatoes are food: true. Therefore both of the above statements are true. This makes the statement “Both of the above statements are false” false.

Reason: Attempts to confuse people with the double negative thinking that maybe the sign can override the question.

Q#34: Choose a potion

Answer: Drink any potion. The correct answer will correspond to what you drank once it teleports you. Ignorance: 6 pizzas. Stupidity: a black hole stomach. Correct: a teenage boy's appetite. Wrong: 4 pizzas.

Explanation: It says there are 10 pizzas. They were not yours to begin with. So it would be ignorant to assume they were which would make 6 pizzas the ignorant answer. The only answer technically correct is a teenage boy's appetite. A black hole stomach is an exaggeration which is the stupid answer because it's not possible. And if you answered 4 pizzas, you were completely wrong, hence wrong answer.

Reason: multiple answers depending on what you choose earlier

Q#35: Wheat!

Answer: Click sign 2nd to the right

Explanation: That is the wheat crop. It can be identified by the way is grows (straight up) compared to carrots, beetroot, and potatoes. The stem is nowhere near what wheat is anyway.

Reason: To see if people pay attention is everyday minecraft

Q#36: What is left of mushroom stew?

Answer: Bowl

Explanation: The item frames behind the glass show a before and after chart of various foods. For the mushroom stew, it is being eaten. What is left of the stew after it is being eaten is the bowl. The question doesn’t ask “what is to the left of mushroom stew?” or else the answer would be wheat or item frame. Wheat and item frame are also too similar to each other in the same say that is different from bowl.

Reason: Tests the player’s process of elimination skills and understanding of a question.

Q#37: Which block is different from the rest?

Answer: Sign on the very left (above the stone brick slab)

Explanation: Every block except the stone brick slab on the very left has one thing different from the other blocks. These differences include: wooden material, stair block, emerald background, and upper half block.

Reason: To make people think that there is something “different” about the other blocks that are normal. It’s normal to be different in this case.

Q#38: What was the code?

Answer: KWBJCG

Explanation: Because that was the given code from question 16

Reason: Tests player’s memory

Q#39: How do you make a slow horse fast?

Answer: Refuse to feed it

Explanation: When you refuse to feed a horse, the horse is fasting (not eating). Therefore, you are making it fast. None of the other options would guarantee a horse to not eat or to actually run faster.

Reason: Tests to see if the player can think of a double meaning of a word

Q#40: Mary has 2 kids. One of them is a boy. What are odds the other one is a boy?

Answer: 1/3

Explanation: Assuming a 50/50 chance for each gender, no twins or adoptions, the possible combinations for 2 kids are: 2 boys, 2 girls, a boy then a girl, or a girl then a boy. It is not given whether the boy is born first or second. This is important to know and understand. We can eliminate the 2 girls option since we know there is at least one boy. When removing a boy from the three situations left, we are left with either a girl born before the boy, a girl born after the boy, or a boy. Each event is equally likely to occur. One event out of the three has the other kid being a boy so 1/3 is the answer.

Reason: Involves critical thinking and event elimination from probability.

Q#41: There are 10 people in a room. 1 person leaves. How many remain?

Answer: 9 (duh)

Explanation: 10-1=9. That’s really it.

Reason: Tests to see if the player will over think an easy obvious question.

Q#42: Which word was not shown?

Answer: Needle

Explanation: The word “needle” is not shown in the title messages

Reason: Uses other words to make the person think of a needle but doesn’t actually use the word needle. Meant to plant false memories in the player.

Q#43: Thank you for playing legit and not skipping. You earned +1 skip.

Answer: Anything but “No, give me +5 skips instead.”

Explanation: The creator appreciates that you are willing to play every question. Because of this, you get to choose your reward. However, +5 skips is too greedy so it’s a wrong answer. Any correct answer choice will bring you to question 46.

Q#44: What’s wrong with this question?

Answer: Nothing

Explanation: This is The Almost Possible Quiz! There are no rules. As shown, in previous questions, pretty much anything is allowed as long as there is an answer. So therefore nothing is wrong with the question.

Reason: Just a weird question with a valid explanation that the creator wanted to include.

Q#45: Would you like to play question 43? (Optional)

Answer: Anything. it is optional after all.

Explanation: It’s your choice. If you want to beat the map though, I would play question 43.

Reason: To make players think they have a choice when really you must answer “Sure” to complete the entire game legit.

Q#46: Reach the lamp

Answer: use flint and steel, place on quartz, try hop on the platform while timing your hurt shakes from the fire. Sometimes you get shaken upward and you can get on the platform and step on the lamp.

Explanation: The flint and steel is the only way. Other items are meant to throw you off.

Reason: Tests to see if player’s can think outside of the box and not get distracted by other items that are meant to “throw you off”.

Q#47: Which of these would a person likely weigh?

Answer: potato

Explanation: 70 kgs seems the most realistic but kilograms are a unit of mass not weight. Although unlikely, a person is more likely to weigh a potato than to weigh 4 ounces or 100,000 pounds.

Reason: To use a repeated wrong answer choice as a correct answer with valid reasoning. It also is the least expected answer choice.

Q#48: How many holes does a doughnut hole have?

Answer: 0

Explanation: Doughnut holes are actually balls and don’t have holes. Doughnuts have holes but doughnut holes don’t. Weird right?

Reason: Tests is players can remember their definitions and not get thrown off by a question that may seem tricky in another way. (For example, this may appear to be a “how many holes in a straw?” type question but isn’t. It’s not philosophy. Just facts.)

Q#49: What are the coordinates of the diamond block?

Answer: (72,68,32) (only correct when block is actually at that position)

Explanation: This option is the only one that the block reaches. Since the block is moving, this question is not correct when the block is away from that position. You must be able to figure out the positions the block goes to and answer when the block is actually there.

Reason: A tricky 2-part question. Involves spatial awareness, logistical reasoning and timing

Q#50: #$%^...

Answer: &*(

Explanation: the symbols #$%^ are over the numbers 3456, so naturally, 789 comes next which are represented by &*(

Reason: Another tricky 2 part question. Tests the player’s ability to experiment with the question and come up with a solution.

Q#51: 3.14 pumpkins?

Answer: Bottom right sign (next to pumpkin pie)

Explanation: 3.14 is the rounded equivalent of the number ‘pi’. It sounds exactly like “pie”. Therefore, pumpkin pie is the best choice.

Reason: Tests basic knowledge and ability to decode puns.

Q#52: backwards si rewsna eht

Answer: sdrawkcab

Explanation: This question is written backwards. What is says forwards is “the answer is sdrawkcab”. So choose “sdrawkcab”.

Reason: Tests player’s first instinct to choose “backwards” right away.

Q#53: Well... all I can say is good luck. :)

Answer: Jump down. When you are about 15 blocks from the ground, log out of the world and log back in. This will reset your velocity allowing you to land safely on the ground to open the door and continue.

Explanation: Relogging is the only way to survive a huge fall on a hard block in minecraft with no items or other entities given.

Reason: Tests if you can think of a creative way to solve a problem.

Q#54: When picking an answer choice at random, what percent chance do you have to get it correct?

Answer: 20%

Explanation: Behind you there is a 0% option. It is an answer choice but not the answer though. Since there are 5 answer choices, you’d have a 20% chance of picking the correct answer randomly.

Reason: To make sure people check behind them and consider answers on both sides of them as well.

Q#55: Time 12 seconds

Answer: Multiple ways to do this one. One example is to go in this order from every open piston intersection: north, west, north, south, east, north (forced), south, south.

Explanation: Repeaters are set at specific delays and this combination will reach exactly 12 seconds when it’s over. Remember that right away there is a forced 1 second delay.

Reason: Tests if players know how long repeater delays are, understand a complex question, and make a plan.

Q#56: Choose the statement that when removed, doesn’t leave a paradox

Answer: The statement to the left is false (middle sign) or The statement to the right is true (left sign)

Explanation: Every other option creates a paradox of a true/false pair. This one however works like this: The statement to the right is true, The statement to the right is false, the statement two to the left is false, the statement to the left is false. When removing double negatives we get: True (->), False (->), True (<-<-), False (<-). Two statements point at the two to the left statement and say it’s false. This false statement says that the very left statement is false. Since the very right statement must be true (since nothing points at it), the very left statement must also be true because they both show that the 3rd statement is false. The alternate answer is the left most sign assuming that the very right sign is true since nothing points at it.

Reason: To see how well the player can handle double negatives and confusing meanings of statements.

Q#57: Which one is different?

Answer: The sign on the very right

Explanation: If you press f3 and look at the blocks, you’ll notice that the piston on the very right is a sticky piston and the rest are pistons.

Reason: Tests if the player can use their tools given in minecraft

Q#58: Think fast. Choose an answer quickly.

Answer: Any are correct, just answer quickly

Explanation: You need to answer quickly. Anything works.

Reason: Tests if the player can answer anything at all under pressure.

Q#59: Move the wooden plank to the emerald block

Answer: You need to move the piston at (6,46) to (6,47) and move the plank to (6,46). From there, get the plank to (5,47) and then push it by pushing a piston to (6,47).

Explanation: It’s the only way to solve it without getting stuck.

Reason: Tests if player can make a plan and understand pistons’ abilities.

Q#60: Which number belongs in the blank?

Answer: 87

Explanation: Look upside-down. The sequence goes: 85’86‘_‘88’89’90’91. Logically, the number in the blank should be 87, just flipped upside-down.

Reason: Tests if players can notice “06” as well as all those numbers that can be upside-down, and think of a reason why it would be that way.

Q#61: Answer the question in the chat

Answer: Minecraft

Explanation: The question in the chat is shown as: [Your name] What is one thing I cannot live without? Your player character is asking the question instead of the game. This is important to know. Your player character can live without air (potion of fire resistance or water breathing). Your character can live without potatoes (eat something else). Your character can live without shelter (obvious). Your minecraft character literally would not exist without the game ‘minecraft’ so therefore that’s the answer.

Reason: Tests to see if players can notice and understand that their player character is asking the question instead of the game.

Q#62: (Obfuscated Text)

Answer: Walk around and step on every block

Explanation: It’s a secret task. You must figure it out for yourself. Since this is difficult already, you cannot lose lives from this question.

Reason: Tests a player’s patience and ability to solve something while knowing nothing.

Q#63: An airplane flies by a person swimming across a river. The person died. How did this happen?

Answer: They got hit in the head from a falling brick

Explanation: Think back to question 12. It’s the only answer to recognize a previous question.

Reason: Tests to see if you can catch a reference to another question previously mentioned.

Q#64: Lava Maze

Answer: On question 63, stand in a green spot when answering or else you’ll teleport into lava. Make your way through the maze and click “Continue”.

Explanation: Green=good. red=bad. Kind of a common theme in this map so far.

Reason: Tests if the player can notice the colored blocks avoid them on the previous question.

Q#65: To pass, you must sacrifice something.

Answer: -1 Life recommended but anything except ‘Nothing’ will work

Explanation: You’ll lose whatever you choose. If you want to beat the game, you want to be able to win and you need all your skips.

Reason: To test a player’s decision making skills. Note: On the previous question you can collect a "bonus" life that ends up getting used in this question.

Q#66: The answer is backwards

Answer: 66 (Click the question number)

Explanation: The word ‘backwards’ in the question is an adjective. “rewsna ehT” is not correct because it doesn’t make sense to answer with this. The statement is pointing out that the answer is backwards so having an example wouldn’t make sense because you have to respond to the question. This is also incorrect because even though it’s backwards, it doesn’t make ‘The answer’ in the question backwards and it’s unclear which “The answer” it’s talking about. If this one was correct, then the task would just be a statement and would be meaningless. “No it isn’t” would only make sense as an answer choice if the question was worded: “The answer” is backwards. “backwards” would only make sense if it was worded: The answer is “backwards”. “Yes it is” is meant to throw you off since “rewsna ehT” is “The answer” but backwards. However, this one is not written backwards so it’s incorrect. The question number ’66’ is a palindrome. It can be written the same way forwards and backwards.

Reason: Confusing philosophical question. Really messes with people.

Q#67: Which minecraft entity is in the other room?

Answer: Chicken

Explanation: Stone is not an entity. There are no pigs nor sheep in the other room but if you look through the hole in second person view, you’ll see a couple of chickens.

Reason: Tests player’s reasoning skills and ability to use their resources to maximize their view.

Q#68: Get rid of the zombie before it kills you

Answer: Change to peaceful mode

Explanation: You can’t kill the zombie. This is the only way to get rid of it.

Reason: Again, tests the player’s minecraft knowledge and ability to think outside the box. Also tests to see if the player noticed that the difficulty wasn’t locked.

Q#69: This question is random isn’t it?

Answer: No

Explanation: Another philosophical question. The answer choice ‘yes’ would not make the question random and would make a paradox. ‘Potato’ has been seen in the map multiple times before so this option isn’t really random. ‘I like pie’ is truly the only random answer but there are no other random answer choices for it to really be random. ‘No’ makes the question straightforward and not random which makes sense.

Reason: To see if players can compare answer choices and see how they influence each other.

Q#70: Click here

Answer: Click here

Explanation: Remember to listen to the question. Everything else is a distractor. Since the question asks you to click here, DO IT!

Reason: To see if players understand that the sign questions trump everything else.

Q#71: Spell what you want to do, then do it

Answer: Spell 'ESCAPE' using the paper in the chest. A door will appear behind you. Walk out the door and click continue.

Explanation: You need to figure it out. It's a tough one but you have no other choice other than to spell words. The word 'escape' is the best thing you can spell with the given letters to make it out.

Reason: Tests the player's ability to come up with an answer without knowing anything.

Q#72: Which armor stand is different from the rest?

Answer: Take off the leather boots from an armor stand then click its respective sign or take off all the leather boots from each armor stand except for one and click that one.

Explanation: The only armor stand with or without leather boots is different from the rest.

Reason: tests if the player can "come up" with their own solution for a question.

Q#73: Fire your bow into the hole below

Answer: Drop your bow in the hole

Explanation: The question does not tell you to do anything with the arrow. Firing doesn't mean shooting. This is the only way to "fire" your bow as a projectile.

Reason: Attempt to trick people with their instincts to fire an arrow in the hole.

Q#74: Which one is the tallest?

Answer: (second sign to the left between snow pile and wither skeleton skull)

Explanation: The signs are on the side of each object they represent the height of. The correct answer is on the side of the wall and the wall is the tallest.

Reason: Tests players' attention to detail with sign position.

Q#75: What is the probability of you getting this question right?

Answer: 1

Explanation: 1 is the decimal equivalent of 100%. You are 100% likely to get it correct if you choose the correct answer. The question doesn't say anything about if you were to choose the answer at random.

Reason: Tests if players can understand what it means to select an answer not at random while having it's probability of getting it correct display as an answer.

Q#76: (minecraft seeds)

Answer: -57991847184718755543005

Explanation: This is the seed for the world. You can find out by using /seed

Reason: Make a question seem random but also has a logical explanation.

Q#77: 1F Y0U C4N 84RL3Y R34D 7H15, 53L3C7 7H3 83457'5 H34D

Answer: sign next to wolf head

Explanation: Each number represents a letter that it looks similar to. 1=I, 3=E, 4=A, 5=S, 7=T, 8=B, 0=O. So the 83457'5 H34D is the "beast's head". The wolf is a beast.

Reason: using what you know from previous part of the question to solve the multistep question.

Q#78: Run

Answer: Just keep running. Don't stop. Don't click any signs.

Explanation: All it tells you to do is run. So that's all you need to do.

Reason: Difficult for players to resist clicking signs. Most players wouldn't expect just to run and do nothing else

Q#79: What cannot be made from this map?

Answer: ships

Explanation: all of the choices contain letters from "this map" but the word "ships" contains two letter s. So if you had the letters for "this map" you couldn't make the word "ships"

Reason: Make it seem confusing since all words are short and contain letters from "this map"

Q#80: What haven't you seen before?

Answer: What haven't you seen before?

Explanation: All other signs you have seen somewhere in the map at some point.

Reason: Multiple answers that could be it but really the answer is obvious and is the question since that question hasn't been asked before

Q#81: Choose the one who is really an air head

Answer: "I can't even hit my bow shits"

Explanation: The quotes don't matter. The real air head is the skeleton because it's head is just a skull without anything inside it.

Reason: The term "air head" implies that someone is stupid but really is just a head with nothing in it.

Q#82: What is this block?

Answer: Red stone

Explanation: The block is granite. Granite is red and is stone. So therefore it is a red stone.

Reason: Most people would think "red stone" is the actual redstone in minecraft. But it's not in this case.

Q#83: How many times did the redstone lamp flash?

Answer: 26

Explanation: Ignore the dings. Only count the number of times the lamp flashes. Easier to do if you concentrate and ignore sounds.

Reason: Auditory trick that makes you think that there were more flashes than what there really were.

Q#84: The answer is at (piston, furnace, wood pressure plate)

Answer: Dig straight down at the coordinates (x=33,z=72). Open the chest you find and place and click the answer sign.

Explanation: The numbers 33, 61, and 72 are block IDs for the piston, furnace, and the wooden pressure plate. So those block IDs represent coordinates of the chest.

Reason: Because block IDs used to represent items but now the items represent the numbers

Q#85: Would you like a diamond?

Answer: Drop the diamond and click: I don't want a diamond

Explanation: If you didn't want a diamond, you would throw it away instead of keeping it.

Reason: Since all the answers wouldn't work, this is your only viable option. You can't trade. It's not really an "emerald". Diamonds are useful but not right now.

Q#86: This question is broken. Click all of the blank signs to repair this question. Don't do anything else.

Answer: Click all 8 of the blank signs even the ones behind you. You will die. Click respawn after you see a message saying "Question repaired!".

Explanation: When it says "don't do anything else" that includes respawning. So you need to wait for it to repair or else the map will reset.

Reason: Makes you think it's game over but really it is not.

Q#86.5: Question partially fixed. Looks like some things are out of place.

Answer: potato

Explanation: Things are out of place. The question is down below and is "What is an example of a food in minecraft?". So therefore it would be potato.

Reason: Messes with people. The question is somewhat hidden.

Q#87: A guy walks into a bar. Then he loses the game. What game was he playing?

Answer: Rename paper to ”LIMBO” and put in hopper

Explanation: Limbo is a game where you lose when you touch the bar. So if you walk into it, you are definitely out.

Reason: Double meaning of a common joke meant to make you think of a different kind of bar.

Q#88: Has Is

Answer: Herobrine

Explanation: The "I" is white. So when you read it it says: "Has white eyes". Everyone knows that Herobrine has pure white eyes.

Reason: Subtle color changes effect the question.

Q#89: Search

Answer: Drop diamond on east glowstone. It will sink through it. A sign will appear in the northwest corner. You will need to crouch down in order to reach it. Click it with your fist to advance.

Explanation: The glowstone is a fallingsand entity so therefore it is a hologram. The item dropped creates the sign that you need to look for.

Reason: Remember that f3 and f5 are your friends in this map.

Q#90: Survive

Answer: Nothing else other than avoid the falling anvils by keeping away from the red blocks. At the end when every block is red, click any of the continue signs on the wall.

Explanation: red=bad. green=safe

Reason: This is where the map starts to get harder. Not every question will be easy even if you know how to beat it.

Q#91: You've been bad. What should you do if you're bad?

Answer: Stand in the empty corner for about 4 seconds.

Explanation: When you're bad, you have to sit in a corner and have a time out. (It's you're punishment for throwing away 2 diamonds earlier)

Reason: This is one of the levels that makes little logistical sense but still has a valid reason. Because don't we all send bad kids in an empty corner to think about what they've done?

Q#92: What's your favorite drink?

Answer: Diet Blood

Explanation: Think of the room you are in and were just in. Question 91 was a "mirror" room but you didn't appear in the room. Question 91 and Question 92 both have roofs to block the sunlight. What can't see their own reflection in a mirror and hates sunlight? A vampire. Vampires also like to drink blood.

Reason: Makes you think about the environment you are in

Q#93: It takes 3 miners 3 hours to find 3 diamonds. How many diamonds will 6 miners find in 6 hours?

Answer: 12 diamonds

Explanation: If 3 miners find 3 diamonds in 3 hours, then that means that each miner finds 1 diamond every 3 hours. So 1 miner will find 2 diamonds in 6 hours and 6 miners. So 6 miners will find 12 diamonds in 6 hours.

Q#94: It's memory time. Figure out the

Answer: place the sign to the right of the question and type "answer" or "answer...". Then click the bottom right question mark sign

Explanation: From the tutorial, there was a question that asked "Figure out the answer...", The answer was the same position as the last question. So the bottom right is the same spot as the previous levels answer.

Reason: Difficult question that requires user to type in the correct text on a sign. This question has to parts and requires logical thinking and memory

Q#95: Get the minecart to the emerald block

Answer: Press the button to summon a minecart and flick the lever to change the rail directions to lead the cart to the emerald blocks at the end.

Explanation: No explanation needed.

Reason: Tricky challenge that requires you to plan ahead and think quickly

Q#96: Answer the question on the steak

Answer: Yes

Explanation: The lore on the steak says "Cooked beef or steak?". That's the question. The name of it is "cooked beef or steak?". So answer yes to affirm that that is indeed the name of the item.

Reason: Tough timed question but helps if you try to "take it literally". That's what this test is all about.

Q#97: Find the answer

Answer: In the front left corner, right click at the bottom blocks to open a hidden minecart chest. In that chest there will be 2 signs named “The answer”. Place a sign down and click it to advance.

Explanation: You need to find the answer. The minecart chest is hidden in the corner. This question does not require knowledge in advance to answer.

Reason: A tricky search question. Since the room is empty and unescapable, the player has to think outside the box to solve this question.

Q#98: I hope you left an answer from that last question

Answer: From the previous question, you must have left one sign in the minecart or else this question is impossible. Now the minecart chest is in the front right corner. Take the answer, place and click it to advance.

Explanation: If you had taken both answers from the previous question, it removes them when you advance to this question. So you must only use one in each question

Reason: tests if the player can stop and wonder “why are there 2 signs?” and act accordingly. Also tests to see if the player takes more than what is necessary.

Q#99: Reach the emerald blocks

Answer: Jump over question 49 by waiting for the diamond block to come close to you. Time your jumps. The next one will be to the right and in front of you, then to the side, then to the right in front of you, then jump for the platform.

Explanation: No explanation needed. Just don't fall or else you have to reset back to level 49.

Reason: Tough parkour at first, but doesn't make you restart the whole map if you mess up.

Q#100: Mine the correct block

Answer: When a block name comes up on the screen, mine it within a couple of seconds or else it's game over. The first two will be random. The third one will always be "quartz". Mine a block of quartz but do not break a sign.

Explanation: The fast clicking should hint to you that this is a timed question. When it asks you to mine "quartz" it refers to pure quartz. Not quartz ore. That is to throw you off.

Reason: This level appears as a challenge as first (which it is), then becomes a trick question. (Go figure)

Q#101: What is the second number in the alphabet?

Answer: 8

Explanation: Remember back in question 77 when numbers represented letters that they resemble? So the first number in the alphabet is 4 (A), then 8 (B).

Reason: Throwback to questions 1 and 2 but different

Q#102-111: Extreme 10 Questions

Use video to get answers

Q#112+: Impossible questions (Normal mode only)

Answer: There is no answer to these questions, you must use all of your skips including the one from question 43.

Explanation: self-explanatory

Reason: To make this tough test even more tougher. In order to pass, you must answer every question without skipping.

End Spoiler (Don't click, I'm warning you!)
Last chance. Don't click! You'll ruin it!
Let's just say that in order to complete the map, you'll receive a title saying "Congratulations" and fireworks.

Awesome Map, I always love it when map creators remake games in Minecraft. I think its really cool and your questions are much nicer than the actual impossible quiz :D (at least where I am at currently). I made a video if anyone is interested youtu.be/te7JnoYh_IQ

awesome. I will add your head to the wall of youtubers as soon as possible. Video is awesome. Yea Q#10 was mean but it gives you a life back once you answer it the second time. Also I apologize about the blank sign glitch. Unfortunatly it is a minecraft glitch and I cannot fix it. Sometimes exiting and coming back will reload them.

So... what happens when you run out of time on Q#22, because it seems I'm stuck currently

Whenever you die, it should respawn you back at the start. If this didn't happen then I assume that you are playing in casual mode. In that case, you can skip or drop the coal which resets the map. Anytime you get stuck you can tp to -6 65 0 to reset the map.

The reason why you might be stuck is because you were probably on peaceful mode. I didn't notice this until now and I will fix it. However, at some point in the map you will need to switch to peaceful to complete a challenge. After that the only place you can die in casual mode is question 90.

So yes I will fix this. Thanks for pointing it out.

Nah, I was still on Normal and I definitely spend more than ten seconds in that room, since I only pulled the lever once hearing the creeper hissing sound behind me, and then just looked around doing nothing, before reading the sign telling me to pull the lever as quick as I can (so after that I spend like half a minute just pulling the lever, later checking what to do in the answer keys), so I was just stuck in that room in Normal mode, in Normal difficulty and no skips, so I had to use the kill command.

sorry about this. I will investigate this glitch. It should only take about 10 seconds and then it kills or advances you depending if you pulled the lever enough times
