The Dreadnought Class "Hull Puncher" is an airship modified from a traditional Spanish galleon. Its primary role of transporting crew and trade supplies has been overhauled, crew quarters minimized to include only the necessary crew to arm each of the bow guns individually, if accuracy demands, as well as the stern chaser cannons, frontal bow cannon, and the lower front deck "Hull Puncher" high power cannon. (2 per cannon for speedy reload and fire). This means a necessary crew capacity of 26, plus 3 for deck operations such as repair and fire suppression, and one to man the bomb bay controls.
nIf things get dicey, the crew can use the carts in the storage bay below decks to escape via the Rail powered escape pod system.
nThe ships hull is two blocks thick at its weakest point, and is reinforced with steel plating at its viable combat points.
nThe weapons are formidable, with chasing and being chased not advisable for enemy ships due to the power of the stern chaser cannons, and the bow frontal cannon. In close range fighting, the "Hull Puncher" is a high power 10-long cannon as opposed to the traditional 7, capable of firing at high speed, with the delay shortened to provide quick explosion, sinking the enemy effectively.
Should the enemy flank the side of the ship, the solution is to rise in altitude, and release a devastating rain of arrows from the broadside channels below decks. As seen in the picture, with a little horizontal strafing, anything on the deck of the enemy ship will be torn to pieces.
The crew morale is important, so a 4 speaker deck stereo is mounted below the frontal deck.
