EPCOT Center: The Ultimate Tribute
Welcome to the most accurate recreation of Walt Disney World's second theme park to be publicly released in Minecraft!
This project is an attempt at charting the EPCOT Center theme park's history from 1982 to 2023 and beyond in a series of functional maps. Each successive map will update the park in the order of how it changed in real life. You will see incredible rides, fully automated shows, massive demolition, construction walls big and small, new pathways, and entire attractions added, changed, or removed. All attractions past and present will be built from the four versions of Spaceship Earth to the Wonders of Life, from Horizons to Mission Space, from World of Motion to Test Track, and the many versions of Journey into Imagination. You'll get to see and ride all of it!
Everything has been recreated at a 1 block : 1 meter ratio. This includes complete, rideable attractions, exhibits, shop interiors, restaurants, bathrooms, and other structures. These maps are designed to be interactive, educational, and entertaining. Attractions will feature custom-built animated figures and self-powered ride systems.
As of 12/27/2023, this project is in ALPHA phase and is not a complete world. Once the map is listed as 100% complete, or when the 1982 map is completed, the "snapshots" from 1983 to the present will begin development.
