Livia was a powerful witch with access to unnatural abilities. To understand her madness, one must first understand the nature of ghosts in the realm of the Inkwell.

As the reality of the Inkwell separates and strains over time, imprints of people from far into the past may appear in rare eldritch spectacles. They cannot see or interact with their future witnesses, save only for our powerful mad witch. Through her mastery of forbidden craft, she lives two lives at once: one in the old days of her living years, and another in the future, as a specter of time.

She may seem to speak into space and wander to strange places, but in reality, she is interacting with other beings from other eras. In the time of her ghost, her imp familiar functions as her hands. In the time of her natural life, she would eventually curse the forest of Covenwood, upon burning at a Candlestone stake.


Her home, an ancient Drwennish A-frame, mysteriously preserved across its many years, remains nestled among the cattails of a Covenwood heath.
