Hello,
the Ponte dei Mercanti (or the Merchants' Bridge) is a massive stone bridge which connects the Isola Imperiale and the Nuovo districts. It also offers many trading places for merchants and craftsmen, mostly of luxurious goods , and is one of the stable trading areas in the city - state (the others may appear in the further sumbissions).
The entrance is located next to the San Zeno (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/basilica-di-san-zeno-and-arco-romano/) and on the other side the brigde is closed with a fortified buiding, which may be used as a seat of a local council. Next to the building You can also observe the Piazza dei Cavalli, a long and narrow square which serves as the official jousting grounds of the Republic.
The bridge is based on the famous Ponte Vecchio at Florence.
