The Castello Bouncontenti (or the Buoncontenti castle) is located in Cheraro, the vassal city-state of Racigliano (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/cheraro-the-city-of-marble/). Its origins date back to the Buoncontenti family, hence its name. However, the family has never finished the construction and after the fall of the city it was finished by the raciglianese authorities (in fact, it was their only serious investment in the aera).
Nowadays the castle hosts a large garrison of the military force (the second biggest in the state), who are told not to intervene in the public life of Cheraro, they can act only in case of serious riots. Moreover, it's one of the official residences of the doge, however, he's never oeen there officially. The castle is also treated as an unofficial treasury of prominent citizens and ambassardors and, eventually, as a secret prison for political rivals.
It's arguably the best fortress in the state, with thic brick walls, accessible only from the city, from which it's divided with a moat and two drawbrigdes. It has a rectangualr shape, with a large inner courtyard, in which You can observe a small renaissance residence (officially in possession of the doge, but inhabited by the army's high rank officers) and a separate massive keep.
The biuling has been strongly inspired by Castello Estense in Ferrara, Italy.
