The Pharaoh's Labyrinth

This is my submission to the Maze Making Minecraft Contest!

I decided to take a more Legend of Zelda approach to my maze and make it more of a proper Adventure and dungeon-crawl map than just a maze. Like in the Legend of Zelda, you'll be gathering gear that will help you make more progress and explore more of the Labyrinth, gear that will give you access to areas you didn't have access to before! There's even four (mini-)bosses, one at the end of each dungeon! Plus, there's four mini-dungeons that offer you a nice bit of loot and will reward the dedicated maze-explorer! There's even a "completionist" challenge where you have to collect all 64 bars of the Pharaoh's Gold! (For non-completionists and struggling players, though, you can trade the gold for Emeralds within the Labyrinth.)



For theming, I settled on a more Ancient Egyptian theme. While I tried to make things look good, I'm not much of a builder, truth be told. Plus, factoring in the limitations of the rules, I wanted to stay faithful to the theming, and deserts aren't incredibly interesting... ^^; Still, I hope my impressive use of command blocks makes up for my lackluster building skills!
