- I have done this build almost by myself with a small help from CutyDino, who has built a Spinosaurus for me.

- This map will take you to many different eras of our planet, from the creation of solar system to the ice age with a little addition in the form of Steve, who you don'T know a lot about.



Everywhere, where you'll look for the creation of earth, universe and basically everything, you'll probably hear the same story with slight variations, but there is one thing, every story forgets.

Steve.





Here, you will hear the whole story of how the earth, universe and everything was created. (most of it, you've probably heard)

Welcome to the journey through time, where we will uncover the truth about Steve.



1)

First there was nothing






2)

Second, there was a singularity, just a tiny particle, or even smaller than that, which became very important for earth, universe and basically everything.





3)13.7 billion years ago

Then the singularity started stretching and there became matter, from which immediately there became Steve, the eternal being that is here forever.

We call this The Big Bang.





4)13.5 billion years ago

The first stars and galaxies form and Steve travels through space and wanders (and sometimes even time, to skip few million years of boredom) and tries to find the right place to settle on (Steve could even change the size of his body)





5)4.6 billion years ago

Solar System is created and Steve decides to check it out

6)4.6 billion years ago

Steve likes the firely planet earth and he knows that one day there may be life on the planet, so he decides to settle here.

(Earth didn’t have moon back then)

In this section, you’ll see what Steve did in different eras of our planet.

(The models were built as scientifically accurate as possible)





7)Precambrian era 4600-541 million years ago

At this stage, earth was covered in lava, so Steve could play “the floor is lava challenge” even when he didn’t want to, but at the late Precambrian era the lava slowly changed into water and the planet became covered in ocean





8)Cambrian era 541 – 488 million years ago

Now the Earth was covered with water, in which life began to spread really quickly (we call it the Cambrian explosion)

In the model, there is one Anomalocarid and two trilobites to represent the many various life forms, which existed)

Steve wandered in the sea and was glad that he had chosen Earth







9)Ordovician era 488 – 443 million years ago

Things haven’t changed much, but there was a lot of nautiloids roaming the sea with Steve (as seen on the model)





10)Silurian era 443 – 419 million years ago

First animals (scorpions) have gotten onto the land with the first land-plants and Steve went on land with them





11)Devonian era 419 – 359 million years ago

Life on land becomes more common and the first reptiles are born, but they all have to live near water to lay eggs. Steve likes to play with the reptiles. (on the model he plays with a hynerpeton)





12)carboniferous era 359 – 299 million years ago

Earth is full of jungles with giant insect in it. Steve is often chased by giant spiders (Mesothelae), who usually eat small reptiles (petrolacosaurus). On the model, you can even see some giant dragonflies (Meganeura)





13)Permian era 299 – 252 million years ago

Steve survives on the dry land of inner Pangea in a cave in an active volcano. Animals there are short on food and water and only the strongest survive. On the model you can see a herd of edaphosaurs drinking in a small pond while a hungry Gorgonopsid is trying to get some meat.





14)Triassic era 252 – 201 million years ago

First Dinosaurs!!!





15)Jurassic era 201 – 145 million years ago

Dinosaurs become bigger and Steve sees himself small compared to other animals, like sauropods etc. (there is a Brachiosaurus and a Spinosaurus on the model)





16)Cretaceous era 145 – 65 million years ago

Steve gets defeated for the first time by T-Rex and hit by a meteor





17a)Paleogene and Neogene 65 – 2.3 million years ago

Steve was so shamed that he lost and caught off guard by a meteor that he iced himself and slept for millions of years while the world around him evolved





17b)Quaternary 2.3 million years ago – 2009

Steve has still slept, letting mammoths wander around and a new species, similar to Steve evolve, called Humans.



18a)Cave Game 2009

Steve woke up and found that he isn’t in ice anymore, but that he is in a world full of cubes called the cave game. Later he found out that the one to get him from the Ice into the so called “Cave Game” was a human named Notch. Steve would be controlled by others to play and to create epic things





18b)Minecraft 2009

Later the same year, the game got renamed to Minecraft, Steve stayed in it for all the version (later to be joined by Alex) and he became the person we know and love for it’s unique appearance in a game called Minecraft.





You may now be thinking: "why do you tell me about Steve, he hasn't done anything before the year 2009 after all" and you're right, he hasn't done anything crucial to us or our existence, but he existed and I think that sharing the knowledge of Steve's very long life is important. We all knew him as the face of Minecraft, but now we know him as the eternal (who got defeated by T-rex) which he in fact is.
