The Type II

The Type II is the most versatile, widely-recognized airship of the day. Massive storage areas in a fairly compact airframe, it has been used for everything from cargo hauling to civilian transport. The Type II was the airship of choice when the New Lands were discovered and many of these craft were built for that purpose alone.

A rear loading ramp made access to the cargo holds effortless, and the massive Class C engines--remarkably large for a vessel of this size--gave it an unequaled escape from danger. Multiple access ports ensures even the least capable adventurers a reasonable chance of safety. One vessel of note--the Lowell--was responsible for the discovery of the New Lands ten years ago as well as the safe passage over the Western Oceans and the treacherous Ichea Whirlpool that has destroyed every ocean-going ship attempting to cross.

The Type II is generally seen as a workhorse vessel. While not luxurious, it is easily reconfigured for several mission profiles. The vessel here is the original production model designed for cargo imports from the New Lands.

Additional Notes

I have a soft spot in my heart for this design, still working out the kinks. I need to make it a bit more pretty, but it's taken the final shape. Now I just need to bring all the elements together to make it memorable. Please enjoy!
