The Type IV Airframe is a beefier version of the previous Type II Shuttle. It can carry significantly more cargo and has two premium accommodations for its longer-term functioning. The Type IV carries similar color schemes to the previous shuttle with the added advantage of modularity and longer staying power than a shuttle typically can serve. It is available in two distinct downloads, one that is planet-side and another designed for flight with the cargo bay closed and landing gear retracted.
Larger engine pods are required to move the considerable mass of the Type IV, but they are similar to the ones on the previous shuttle. Unlike the shuttle, there are multiple zones within the ship that can be used independently or as part of a coordinated work. At the rear of the Type IV is a segmented window set allowing for a relaxing view behind, and two accesible doors on either side should you require docking at either a station or a spacecraft of your own design.
