TAD405b Asthu recon drone

The TAD405b Asthu was a short range reconnaissance drone designed by Themix Industries for use by the Tilanex army, and later sold to allied TAUFOG nations. Intended to provide battlefield awareness and scouting for small army units in a variety of terrains and environments, the Asthu is held aloft by light repulsorlifts and propelled through the atmosphere by a jet engine. Due to its small size and limited power, the Asthu can only ascend to a few hundred kilometers in the air, although its small frame helps the drone avoid visual detection and attacks. The relative popularity of the Asthu would prompt Themix Industries to design an upgraded version a number of years after the Asthu was first put into use.
