I made this nifty little puzzle using Redstone (obviously) and the new Pistons, found in 1.7. It is used as one of the puzzles in my adventure map 'A Light In The Distance' - which can be found here at PlanetMinecraft, here at Yogiverse, and here at MC Forums.

The objective of the puzzle is to get to the other side of the deep hole by jumping across blocks that automatically expand and retract in a wave-like motion. All the wiring used for it is conveniently hidden underground, so its all good.

I use Traditional Repeaters (Diodes) rather than the Redstone Repeater released in 1.3 for 1 reason. The traditional repeater actually extends the 'wavelength' of the redstone when the button is pressed aswell as delaying it - while the 1.3 Repeater only allows for delay, keeping the 'wavelength' the same. It's kindof hard to explain in technical terms though =P

I love puzzles like this, and this is well done! From an engineering perspective, I'm curious as to why you could not use the repeater block.
