The Tupolev Tu-144 first took flight at the 31 of December in 1969, two months before Concorde. The plane was rushed but it could fly. The Tu-144 wasn't very safe because the engineers hadn't much time to devolop the plane.
I've built the Tu-144 S and The Tu-144 ll which was used by the Nasa in the 90s'. Both airplanes are at a scale of 1.5:1

Tupolev Tu-144 could fly higher and faster than Concorde. It even could carry more passengers. And the Tu-144 D had nearly the same range as Concorde. The Tu-144 was able to climb twice as fast as the Concorde.
