Wolerian - Between Cliffs and Mountains (Download, 4k, 1.16+, Java & Bedrock, Realistic Multibiome Minecraft Survival World) Minecraft Map

Wolerian is a huge 16km² Minecraft custom Multibiome terrain. With huge cliffed mainlands and enormous snowcovered mountains. Wolerian is a custom realistic formed fantasy world, also focusing on an enhanced Minecraft vanilla experience. As progress continues, the main focus was on restructuring and including a extreme detail and variational highland for this map. To improve and make the map more exciting especially for explorers.

A 4 km by 4 km realistic Minecraft island with custom biomes, made by McMeddon. It's an Island with multiple huge mountain ranges, hard cliffs, falls, flows, layered terrains and hard eroded peaks with: new swamp regions, pine biomes, taiga/spruce, oak, and custom arctic regions. Landform adjusted river systems and temperature-controlled Biomes. Find custom mineshafts and explore the custom advanced biomes. Explore along the paths that connect the world or take a boat and cross the ocean with a near-seamless transition to the default Minecraft Vanilla generation.

Whats new? Whats Changed?

With each new map i try to develop, evolve or refine a technique. See all my maps as rapid prototype maps.
  • 📀 Nodes: progressing on the mainland restructuring for higher density and more elevation changes
  • 📀 Nodes: cleared up more on the coastlines to have more flat beach spots
  • 📀 Worldpainter: Raised the density for the forest to be more consistent on smaller patches

Possible questions:

🞂 Which Programs did you use?

WorldPainter:   www.worldpainter.net/
Gaea      quadspinner.com/
WorldEdit    enginehub.org/worldedit/
Chunky Renderer chunky.llbit.se/

🞂 How long did it take to make this map?
  • The Total Development time.. around 2-300h+
  • Building this export, around: 11h+
  • Building, fixing, improving and adding customized small bits: ca 1h
  • General process
  • - Updating Assets
  • - 1 day working on the map and new node tree build
    - 2 day rendering
    - ?? Troubleshooting and learning new techniques...
🞂Did you make those assets?
Yes, every asset is done by myself.

🞂 What are your plans with these maps?
These are adventure maps, survival maps, creative maps for you to build, play and explore. For my part, i gain new techniques and experience with every new map, building on that for the next and making map by map better maps.

🞂 Timelapse? Showcase? Breakdown?
Uploaded, coming soon (follow the yt channel)

🞂 Do you do commissions?
No - since i dont have the time for the additional workload. My Current workload with management, development and content creation is pretty packed already.

🞂 PMC Member: "[...] Out of curiosity, if someone else uses your world to build things in and wanted to share, do you just request a credit?"

    • Yes always - please credit the origins of work / the creator. (people want to know where to find the stuff)
    • Redistributing or selling my Intellectual Property without consent is not allowed.
    • Showcase Submissions are allowed
    • (Backside info: I've spent hundreds of hours to achieve the knowledge to create those maps. And can spend days on creating each Map. For the casual people: I encourage you to play..test and build on these maps. I actually like to see what you can do on/with them. I see my maps as canvases for people to explore and enjoy... what i don't like is when people just plainly say: I made that canvas , that's mine. [analogy end] It's IP theft, disrespectful, and ungodly frustrating to deal with. And there are either Kids who just entered the internet and dont know better and there are 3rd Parties that do that intentionally)

i predetermine every single aspect of the terrain upfront.

The hand painting comes in when i want to derive from my calculated maps and have an idea how to improve or individualize or fix a certain area, like specific biomes, rivers, flowes or terrain textures
