Woodland Hunt is a multiplayer survival horror game made by 2 brothers in the span of a couple months,
This game is made to be a thrilling experience with friends with customizability and different game modes to keep each round from feeling repetitive.
You can pick to play as either a survivor or a monster trying to traverse thru this small packman-like forest maze which you will have 2-6 minutes to survive or hunt everyone down.
this game was inspired by Dead by Daylight and a couple Roblox pvp Horror games

How to play:
Survivor:
When you’re playing as a survivor, the primary goal is to reach the end of the round without being caught by the monster,
when the round starts you will began with nothing but there will be supply boxes scattered around which will give you 1 of 5 items to help defend yourself from the monster. (supply boxes can be altered in settings)
Press F to use items
Survivor Items
Tranquilizer:
the tranquilizer is a one shot crossbow that can be shot at the monster to slow him down. but be careful, you can also shoot your fellow survivors! so make sure your aim is good.
Paranormal Detector:
Paranormal detector will show you how far the monster is from your location when held in your hand. Green being far, Red being close.
The indicator will display over your hotbar. (even though the item is a compass the compass dose not point to the players location)
Bear Trap:
Beartrap is a peaceable item that places a hidden trap on the ground that stops the monster in his tracks.
Security Alarm:
Security alarm is a peaceable item that illuminates the monster when they are in close proximity for everyone to see
Totem Of Revealing:
when held, this item will reveal all scarecrows that can potentially be the monster.
(This item will only appear in supply boxes when the monster is in Scarecrow mode and will replace the security alarm item)
Flare Gun:
The flare gun is an item that shoots an ongoing projectile that has a very long range and will illuminate any Monsters within a certain distance of the projectile itself,
use this wisely as the monster will be able to see where the projectile came from

Monster:
The role of the monster is to track down and kill all survivors before time runs out,
there are different types of monsters to pick from, each one having unique abilities and skills to help find and hunt down survivors.
(Monsters will ato kill players when in 1.75 blocks from each other)
(Monsters can destroy Supply Boxes when they walk over them)
All Monster Types
Dark Spectre:
The Dark Spectre has a plethora of traps and abilities to help find survivors, some of them being.
Dark Trap:
Dark trap leaves behind a small hidden trap from were you are standing, if any survivors come near this trap there will be a small explosion which will inflict slowness, blindness and will reveal there location.
The Dark Trap has a cooldown of 15 seconds and there is no limit to how many traps you can place.
Boost:
the Boost item gives you a 2 second speed boost. (great for keeping up with runners)
Boost has a cooldown of 7 seconds
Cloak:
Cloak allows you to be invisible for 15 seconds at which point you will be unable to kill anyone
(if you are sprinting when cloaked other players will be able to see some partials)
Cloak has a cooldown of 40 seconds
Scarecrow:
When the monster team is in Scarecrow Mode the map will be Scattered with fake scarecrows in all directions.
The monster scarecrow has the unique ability to disguise itself as one of the fake scarecrows, this ability is activated when they stay in one place for a couple seconds. (A hidden monster will not be able to kill)
When the monster is hidden they will also have the ability to teleport between 5 random scarecrows around the map by using items in there inventory
To exit hidden mode you need to walk in any direction
Bugeyes:
When the monster is in Bugeyes mode all players will look the same.
The monster will start in Disguise Mode waich allows you to blend in with the survivors but is unable to kill,
But an item in your inventory will allows you to enter Monster Mode at which point you will be able to kill survivors.
Monster Mode will also give you an atomatic sensor that will allow you to know how far the nearest survivors are from your location, similar to the Paranormal Detector.
But being in Monster Mode also has its disadvantages as you are bigger and louder which makes it harder to traverse the map as there are more branches you can bump into and the survivors will be able to hear your loud footsteps and groaning
We are very proud of how this game came out and we had a lot of fun making it, we hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
We plan to update and add more content in the future such as:

- new gamemodes
- new maps
