brief history of bunkers in guernsey
bunkers like this one were used as storage places in the island where i live, in the scond world war we were invaded by germany and were then under occupation from them, they built fortification along the coast of out island to stop people comming in and leaving, the only ships aloud to come in were the red cross ships with the rations. in the far end of the bunker there is an escape tunnel which would be filled with loose ground so it would remain hidden above ground but easy to get out in an emergency.
