Morath is a survival freebuild server, where we always try and strive to
keep the community as our main priority.

Please do note, that while we do our best in keeping the server functional
and player-friendly, we aren't experts and mistakes therefore do
occur. We ask that you let us know if there are any issues.

The overall goal of the server is to have a thriving community and to
provide a relatively free space for personal and creative
development, while still providing a challenge in these regards as
well, which is why players must work their way up the rank
ladder.

We hope to provide a good experience to everyone, and that everyone
playing on Morath will find a good place in our (hopefully) friendly
community.

As many servers, Morath has a set of standard server rules, which we
expect everyone on the server to follow:


§ Be Respectful - Respect other players on Morath

§ Be Ethical - Act in an ethical and fair way

§ Obey the Staff - The staff is here to help, so listen to them

§ No Griefing - Do not change builds that others have created

§ No Cheating - Do not exploit glitches or use modifications to gain an advantage

§ No Advertising - Do not advertise for any other server or any product on Morath

§ No Spamming - Do not spam the chat, and do not write non-understandable chat
messages

§ Use Common Sense - Think before you act



The purpose of these rules, as so often, is to make sure everyone has the
best possible experience on Morath, and we therefore hope they will
be followed by everyone on the server and that players won't find
them problematic. Keep in mind there are some additional rules
applying to those with higher ranks on the server, to avoid the
balance of Morath from turning.


The leadership structure on Morath functions as following: 

• Three server owners, who as the name implies own (or at least pay for) the server, and take decisions about plugins, worlds   and other major matters. 
  

• A server manager, who is responsible for the daily management of Morath and the activities of the server staff.
  

• The server staff, which is responsible for enforcement of the server rules and helping of the players on Morath.
  

The name of the server hasn't always been Morath. The server was first
launched on the 5th of November 2012 with the name of Sheoth, though
shortly after the server's one-year anniversary, a new name was found
to get away from the bounries we put upon ourselves when choosing a
name from a video game, in this case TES IV's expansion pack "The
Shivering Isles". Sheoth's
