She dwells in the eternal night of a deep ocean trench, a place where nothing else can survive.
Staying down there makes her lonely.
On some nights she comes up to the surface to admire the starry sky that seems so much like the glowing spots on her own body.
Sometimes other sea animals are there too, watching the sky above.
But they retreat back down to the depths when she looks their way.
Schools of fish scatter when they encounter her.
Even the whales avoid the strange creature from the abyss.

Nobody wants to see her.
But she does not understand why.
She can only feel loneliness.
