Breton (Elder Scrolls)

The Bretons are the feudal wizards of High Rock. Their origins are unclear, but it is widely believed that they are a cross-breed of man and mer. Their land is full of wide forest hills, and was once split up into hundreds of individual houses and estates. Then, during the 3rd Era, a strange event known as a Dragon Break, lead to 3 main kingdoms ruling over the land, almost overnight. Their skills as politicians and cooks are unmatched, able to make even the meanest orc their best ally. While serving under the Empire, their battlemages are devastating summoners and incinerate entire legions. A certain group of Bretons, who live in the Reach of Skyrim, have a hatred for Nords an fight for control over the Dwemer city of Markarth. They are known as the Forsworn.
