Many years ago, there was a family of 3. A mother, a father, and an only child. They lived in a small harbor town that ran on the fish they caught for both profit and food. The boy's father and mother both worked on a fishing ship. The father was a fisherman, and worked twice as hard as any other of the crew on the ship. His mother would take inventory of how many fish they'd catch every day, and worked in the lower part of the ship. The family was a very organized and planned family, and when the boy's parents got home from work, they'd always show up right before sun-set.

When the mother and father would leave for work, they'd hire a friend to watch over their son. They paid him before hand, and they paid him very well. One stormy afternoon, the clouds had grown so thick that is was as dark as night hours before sun-set. They boy always worried about his mother and father when storms would wreck havoc on the town, because he knew that it made the sea they lived on extremely traitorous. He was surprised that his mother and father didn't come home early due to the storm, and this worried him tremendously.

Hours had passed, and still no sight of his parent's ship on the sea. It was past time for the babysitter's pay, and he needed to get home, but was also worried for the boy's family. The babysitter and the boy both dressed in storm gear headed out to the docks to get a better look over the sea. In the dark umbra of the black sea, and the twisting black skies, there wasn't a ship in sight. The boy knew where the ship's routes were, and remembering them, he ran to the end of the docks, and got into a sailboat and started to push away from the docks and into the obese of the winding sea. The babysitter tried to stop the boy, but the boy didn't give in, and got away before he could grab him.

The boy struggled, and pushed onward, unable to see anything but the horizon where the sky touched the sea. Soon the boy was very tired, and could no longer fight the strong currents of the ocean, and twisted, and spun out of control. He looked around quickly behind him, and there was no land in sight. in mid-turn back to his front, he saw a silhouette of a large ship with broken sails tumbling on the harsh waters on sitting on the horizon. He scrambled to fix his sails to meet with the ship when he heard a distant crash, and became alert just before seeing the silhouette of the ship crash into a large rock, and become overwhelmed with waves twice the size of the ship. In an instant, the large ship in the distance was gone, and the boy's vision became very blurry right as a beam of light, and an exploding noise ripped the boy's ship into pieces.

The babysitter at the docks was in the lighthouse when he saw the unbelievable. The distant speck of the boy's ship exploded as a huge bolt of lighting struck the front end of his sailboat. The baby sitter couldn't believe what he just saw. A moment later, he recovered back to reality, and ran down the lighthouse stairs as fast as he could. He ran to the docks, and went aboard a smaller sailboat, and headed out as fast as he could to retrieve the boy from the water. After a while, he finally came to the spot of scattered wood, and smoke. The boy was laying on a sinking broken part of the sailboat, and was completely motionless, except for the movement of the sea. The babysitter retrieved the boy, and fought the wind for 2 hours to get back to shore.

He immediately took a carriage into the next town where the doctor was, and stayed with him over night, as the doctor tried to revive the boy. The next morning, the babysitter awoke to the doctor needing to ask where he found the boy, and he explained what had happened. After some time, the doctor said "The boy is not dead, but he has suffered tremendously from the damages of both the sea, and the lightning that struck his boat. We are afraid we cannot do much, because he is in a very deep coma that can last..." He was interrupted by the opening of the door behind him.

In the doorway stood the lop-sided boy with closed eyes, and burnt hair. Both the doctor and the babysitter were speechless. The boy slowly pulled his head up, and tried to open his eyes. under the burnt eyelids, once brown eyes now shown a pale light blue color. He said softly "My parents. Where are they?" The doctored turned to the babysitter and the babysitter stood up, and keeled down to the boy, and slowly took off his hat. The boy's eyes filled with tears, and his hair stood up on end. The two men backed away cautiously, as sparks of electricity started to jolt up and down the boy's hand and legs. and the boy turned, and ran out of the building, and back towards the ocean. The two men tried to run after him, but the boy ran with godlike speed, and the sunny sky started to fill up with clouds almost instantly. The boy ran to the docks, and climbed into the largest ship at bay, and began out towards the ocean.

When the two men made it to the docks, there were already many townsfolk gathered there, and watching the ship, as electricity started to envelope the entire large ship, and speed off into the ocean ten times faster than any ship normally could. This wasn't a myth, because all of the townsfolk had witnessed it. The two men stood in awe, as the cloudy skies slowly became sunny again. The boy was gone, to find his dead parents... He returned once to the doctor 20 years later to get his left leg amputated after being bit by a shark while swimming in the deep waters to find his parents sunken ship. And even now, 42 years after the death of his parents, he hasn't been seen but by fisherman in the spot where the parents of the boy passed away that night.

People have renamed him "Captain Leglace-Blueye" due to his peg-leg, and his glowing blue eyes that shine out from the dark waters at night. And every time it storms, every sailor to set free from the harbor gets struck and killed by lightning, and their ship is sunken, and is no where to be found.

Thus' is the tale of Captain Leglace-Blueye, and has taught many of sailors to never sail during a storm, no matter what.
