After being slobbered on by an army of radioactive chameleon in the Amazon, Axel's DNA was twisted inside out giving him the power to transform into a Chameleon, blend into any background and remain warm, which is useful since all he dons are his pair of y-fronts.

Defending Togham City from evil Chameleon Boy awaits his arch enemy, Dr Chopstick, to return from the depths of hell itself. He stole Chameleon Boys diamonds and now he will face justice!
