On October 1st, 1422, a medival village was cursed by dark magic. (No, it's not the one the Dark Warlock once lived in.) The citizens of this village lived near a cave full of lava, with part of it built in the cave, so the curse, which fuses beings and objects together, combined the villagers the stone and magma the villagers built their town on. And so the villagers were cursed, and then they merged with the caves due to a lack of people to terrorize. But then, exactly 6 centuries later on October 1st, 2022, a human named IGEBM awoke them and they emerged from the caves to absorb him into their ranks. (Thankfully, he escaped.) And now, for 31 days they walk the Earth, returning to the ground on November 1st.
