Once upon a time, there lived a small creature. This small creature's name was Das Schnee Teufelchen.
As many people, ordinary or not so ordinary, knew, Schnee Teufelchen was a snow imp. A damned mischievous one at that. Now, from the very beginning, when he was just a bawling little imp-spawn, he was always pulling pranks on everyone around him. Whether it be turning invisible and lobbing snowballs at unsuspecting passersby, or throwing a dash of frostbite on the foot of some poor eskimo. As common sense indicated, the little devil would grow up to be even more diabolical. When he had reached the ripe old age of eight and a half, he bid goodbye to his old mater and pater and set off on a journey to seek the ultimate eden of pranking people. For many a year, he traveled the world, from snowy arctic tundra to snowy arctic tundra, pulling practical (and not so practical) jokes on many. It was when he turned fifteen that he decided that there was no such thing as the ultimate eden of pranking people. Weary, exhausted, with aching imp-feet, Das Schnee Teufelchen quit his search, tired of travelling and, quite frankly, tired of pranks. It was at the exact moment when he sat down to massage his tender toes
when he saw it. There, like a shining beacon calling out to him, stood a she-Schnee Teufelchen. Love was thick in the air, and soon, after nearly a month of courtship rituals, they were wed (Schnee Teufelchens normally marry quite young). Schnee Teufelchen would continue to live out the rest of his impy life as a happy demon. The END.


The moral of the story: Don't be Das Schnee Teufelchen, no matter how good you are at pranking. It's always a hollow satisfaction (unless the prank is pulled on a sibling)

Wheee, another contest! I both love and hate contests. Why? Well, first of all
I like them because the challenge me to think of an original and unique idea for an entry. Buuuut,
they also make me feel like I REALLY NEED TO MAKE A SKIN, ERMAGERSH! Anyhoo, the evolution process for this idea was rather interesting:

1: Hmmm, I know I'll make a frost breathing, glowy-eyed, goat gorilla demon.
2: Nooo, that's stupid and too difficult. I know! a snowman-eskimo!
3: Nooooo, that'll look stupid >:I.
4: Let's look up some eskimo mythology.
5: Naw, I'll just make Old Man winter.
6: Hey, he looks kinda like an imp/hob goblin. *insert lightbulb "Ding!" here*
7: The Snow Imp! That's what I'll call him. Now I just need to look up what it means in German.
