Dimitri is the prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, one of Fódlan's three nation states. Modest and polite, he is unexpectedly mild for his position. Dimitri's life since the age of 13 has been shaped by the Tragedy of Duscur, an event which killed most of the royal family and the knights present. Dimitri's mild, stilted manners conceal the serious trauma of the tragedy, and he is desperate for any leads on those responsible. His friend Felix has seen his behaviour on the battlefield, and calls him 'the boar' for it, worrying that his vengeful streak will get out.
