Hi Thank you for taking a look at my skin! :3
I have based my skin off the contest topic “Aztec Egyptians”.
I wanted to make my skin look like an ancient Egyptian pharaoh (king) . Let me explain why my skin looks like it does! C:
In Ancient Egypt kings would wear different clothing than than lower class/poorer people did. King’s would wear a white scenti (basically a skirt/tunic but very soft and light ones as it was very hot in Egypt) which could have red, blue or yellow patterns on them but that wasn’t necessary. Lower class men would wear white kilts. Kings would also wear a linen (a light material) shirt/t-shirt.
Ancient Egyptians absolutely loved jewellery. This is the main attribute to Ancient Egypt. The wealthy would buy all sorts: bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings, heavy neck collars, and some ornamental buttons on their clothing! The jewellery was mostly made out of gold and special jewels!!!! They liked their fashion XD the people who could not afford all the gold would buy jewellery with coloured beads….
Only Pharaoh’s would wear nemes, nemes are the gold and blue stripy headcloth.
Most Egyptians did not wear any foot wear as it was so hot. They would only wear sandals if there was a risk of there feet getting seriously damaged. Sometimes they could afford LEATHER sandals- how faaaaannnnnnccccccy.
And last but not least, the Egyptians were VERY tanned as they would always work out in the hot HOT sun shine!
Did you know that in Ancient Egypt they loved there jewellery sooooo much that they would be buried with them! IN A SPECIAL TOMB!
