Ashley J. "Ash" Williams is the protagonist of the Evil Dead movies. Throughout the series, Ash has to face off against his loved ones inside an abandoned cabin as they are possessed by "deadites", the evil souls of the dead.

In "Evil Dead 2" Ash loses his right hand, which also got possessed. Later on, he mounts a chainsaw on his stump which he uses as a weapon to fight the dead.
