Amongst the din of the backstreet tavern toiled the tired Merchant as he fumbled hastily about his pocket eventually producing a tattered, worn coin purse from the depths. A few spilled upon the heavy wooden table, beset with rot and ale stains, as the string slipped away beneath his archaic hands. The wealth of coin glinting under the dim, flickering torchlight stunned the merchant, as it did every night. All that gold, in a single day...

The Drakewisp Merchant is an accomplished peddler of all sorts of wares. Despite the scar and loss of his left eye his right still remains keen; always searching for the best price, or bumbling traveller to exploit! This simple yet very detailed interpretation of an existing Fantasy character (Name and origin unknown) is the first to grace the Drakewisp (an affluent, influential house in the Scarlet Isles) series; with more to follow!
