Hera, The Goddess of Marriage.

One might think Zeus & Hera have a functional relationship like in Disney's Hercules movie.
Yea no, you can dream. The Greek gods are great as they have actual flaws .

The actual reason that Hera married Zeus is because she felt ashamed.


Warning of R*pe & stuff
Hera was forced onto by Zeus and married him due to shame but in turn she became the top goddess of goddesses and became goddess of marriage.


However, Zeus commits infidelity and usually Hera takes it out on his bastard children and the women(s).
You might be asking why Hera can't take it out on Zeus. Well, one of the reasons is she tried to make a coop to overthrow Zeus.
It failed and as punishment Hera was forced to swear something along the lines of loyalty to Zeus. What's more, Zeus is more powerful than her and She fears his wrath.


One famous mythology of Hera tormenting one of his flings is Io. Zeus tried to hide her by turning her into a cow.
Hera however noticed and decided to keep it and have someone else keep guard for her by the name of Argus.
Io was saved by Hermes as he killed Argus. Hera being sad and mourning her follower decided to pluck Argus eyes, which he have many as an 100 eyed giant. Adorning it onto her birds feathers, which is why we got peacocks.

Io actually escaped to Egypt to get away from Zeus too by the end of the story.

You have no idea how happy I am to see someone actually did their research on what an absolute sicko Zeus was and his abuse of Hera.

And the skin looks amazing!
