unfortuantely there is no such thing as invisible skins... The game will just substitute it for the color black... so uses best at night.. But NOT invisible..

I found something that might be true if you go to your minecraft.jar file and go under mobs and find Steve you can switch out the skin and it should make you invisible.

Yes that is what i meant due to some creepy videos that eyes would be watching would be at night.
