They told me to pack then sent me away. I got no information as of what I was supposed to do just where I had to go.

It's been a rough journey but I have made good progress.

I'm one fifth of the way finished with my journey. My food supply is holding up.

I haven't had time to make an entry since there is little time to spare and I must keep going only to occasionally stop to eat or drink.

I passed a traveler who looked very feverish, they said they had not eaten or drunken anything in days so I gave them a bit of my food.

August twelve, 1932
I am now three fifths of the way done according to my map. I have estimated that I will reach my destination around September second.

August twenty first, 1932
I miss my home and my family I wish I could go back.

August twenty ninth, 1932
I am almost there I only have around 4 more days. I won't have time to do any more entries until I arrive.

September fourth, 1932
My food supply is running low and it has taken longer to get there than I thought.

I passed a kind traveler who offered me some water, I gratefully took it.

I'm there. It is a very eerie place and there is a black kind of air around it.

It's night time and I set up a camp I will explore more when I wake up.

I couldn't sleep but I still waited to explore until it was light.
