"In the Devils Image"

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Background

Most branches of Christianity agree that all of Humanity was created in gods image (Genesis 1:26). But if the position of heaven and Hell were to swap places in some twisted cosmic event, would that make us....In the devils image?

Normally, in this reality, humans are supposedly created in Gods image, however, just like in the case of this poor boy who's story follows, in a twisted reality it isn't always the case...

January 9th 1902, the usual and mighty storms where frequent out at sea, even more so with the cold winter blizzards. However a far more special but terrifying event was about to occur; the 8 year old son of the ships captain was on the deck, slowly climbing up the crows nest. About half way up when it was too far for the poor young boy to either climb down nor up, a series of massive waves hit the side of the old wooden boat. It was the third hit which caused the ladder which the he was climbing to snap, destroying any chance the boy had of hanging on. THUD!! He rolled down the slanting ship and shattered the thin wooden supports which separated him from the vast ocean plane which meant almost certain death. Unconscious and half dead he fell to the bottom of the ocean and laid there...



It was 111 years later-this year- when the mysterious event occurred, the deep depth of hell rose up out of the ground to swap places with the paradise in the clouds, with Heaven. This movement sent the young boy flying out of the deepest parts of the ocean onto a stereotypical desert island which laid, for many years, floating above him. Defying all of natures intentions, the boy woke up, memory less. However if not more surprisingly, as hell had moved through him, it left a tiny bit implanted inside of him. Having rested in the ocean as a boy, he came out a man - a devilish man.
